Title: Comparative Study of the Effects of Vegetable Oil-Containing Ozone versus Intrauterine Cephapirin Benzathine Ointment in the Treatment of Clinical Endometritis in Dairy Cattle Abstract: Clinical endometritis poses a significant challenge to reproductive health and productivity in dairy cattle. This study aims to compare the efficacy of two treatment modalities, namely vegetable oil-containing ozone and intrauterine cephapirin benzathine ointment, in managing clinical endometritis in dairy cattle. A randomized controlled trial was conducted involving dairy cows diagnosed with clinical endometritis. The cows were divided into two groups: Group A received treatment with vegetable oil-containing ozone, while Group B received intrauterine cephapirin benzathine ointment. Parameters such as clinical cure rate, reproductive performance, and inflammatory markers were evaluated to assess the effectiveness of each treatment. Results indicated that both treatment modalities led to improvements in clinical signs and reproductive outcomes. However, the vegetable oil-containing ozone group exhibited a significantly higher clinical cure rate and reduced inflammatory response compared to the cephapirin benzathine ointment group. These findings suggest that vegetable oil-containing ozone may offer a promising alternative for the management of clinical endometritis in dairy cattle, with potential benefits for reproductive health and productivity. Further research is warranted to explore its long-term efficacy and safety profile.
