The study employed a descriptive survey research design and collected data from a sample of 80 respondents through questionnaires. The data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The study found that effective funds management is critical for ensuring the stability and profitability of banks in Nigeria. The study also found that there is a positive relationship between the effectiveness of funds management and the overall soundness of the banking system in Nigeria. The study concludes that effective funds management is essential for the stability and profitability of banks in Nigeria.
