The outcome of this project is expected to provide students offering CSC 111 with the necessary facilities needed to aid with learning and studying efficiently. It seeks to aid in distance learning by providing online access to quiz/examinations which have previously only been accessible as hard paper copies at the Federal University of Lafia. To achieve the aim and objectives of this study, Agile Methodology for software development was adopted. Both primary and secondary methods of data collection were used for the purpose of this study. The primary data were gotten from oral awarding of questions to the staff and students of computer science department and also complementing the interview is personal observation of the routine of the current procedure of taking quizzes/examinations at the Federal University of Lafia. The secondary method of data used for this research is the use of libraries which comprises of textbooks, past project works, the internet, and other related works. Java programming language was used to develop the mobile application. Android studio was the environment used for building the software. The result of the project work is an Android-based quiz/examination application for CSC 111. The system was developed with features that enable students offering CSC 111 at the Federal University of Lafia to have access to learning resources online and in their comfort zones. The developed Android application has features that enable students to log in and take quizzes/exams via their smartphones and also view the result of the quiz.
