Abstract
This research on the topic Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State as a case study. It is very disheartening to supporters and genuine lovers of cooperative, that in Nigeria and cooperative societies in Ekwusigo local government area of Anambra State. In particular, cooperative has neither gained a solid foundation more enjoyed popularity. Management and inefficiently really affected the advancement of operations. The failures of cooperatives are the topmost problems of Ekwusigo local government and the growth of the cooperative movement for it, therefore, becomes vital to make failure of cooperatives the subject of in-depth research so as to solve the failures of Ekwusigo local government area of Anambra State. Also, such failure information is necessary to draw valid conclusions and make sound decisions concerning cooperatives. The objective of this study is to determine the following: to examine the procedures for the recovery of failures and to identify the causes of failures. Lastly, the purpose of this study is to understand the meaning of cooperative enterprises. This project work can serve as a guide to societies involved in failures.   ...
