Paint consists of pigments and an oil or water-based binder (the binder being the majority in volume). Gloss Paints may be broadly classified into Decorative paints, applied on-site to decorate and protect buildings and other objects, and Industrial coatings which are applied in factories to finish manufactured goods such as cars. The significance of MEK is that it suppresses"skin" of the paints. It also functions by binding the drying agent. The raw materials used in the production of gloss paints include artistic resin, kerosene, titanium, polyvinyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, texanol and colour oxide and materials used when methyl ethyl ketone was removed are artistic resin, kerosene, titanium, polyvinyl acetate, texanol and color oxide....Preview Download Preview +Other Science Technology project topics and materials you might be interested in»Design and construction of cell phone charger»Bacteriological qualities of food thickener deuterium microcarpum (ofor) and brachystegia eurcycoma (achi) sold in Owerri main market»Obstacle detection robot with ultrasonic sensor»Physiochemical assessment of soil samples from Nwambe Reserve Forest, Ndubia Igagu Izzi L.G.A, Ebonyi State.»Antitrypanosomal activity of ethanol extract of Tridax Procumbent leaf and whole flower on T.
