Trial and error designs are expensive and time-consuming. This problem is solved here by using simulation tools that can predict the dynamic behavior of systems consisting of mechanic and electronic modules. The simulations provided along with the paper show a satisfactory agreement with laboratory measurements. Generally, a DC motor driver circuit consists of four MOSFETS forming an H– bridge. This type of motor driver can control the speed as well as the direction of rotation of the motor. However, both the functions can be performed using another type of motor driver consisting of only one MOSFET and two relays. This research demonstrates the proposed motor driver circuit having bi-directional speed controllability for motors. Relays, being mechanical devices, are less prone to failure due to electrostatic discharge (ESD) as compared to the MOSFETs under the same operating conditions. We have illustrated in the research the design and testing of this motor driver along with its performance evolution....Preview Download Preview +Other Science Technology project topics and materials you might be interested in»Design and construction of cell phone charger»Bacteriological qualities of food thickener deuterium microcarpum (ofor) and brachystegia eurcycoma (achi) sold in Owerri main market»Obstacle detection robot with ultrasonic sensor»Physiochemical assessment of soil samples from Nwambe Reserve Forest, Ndubia Igagu Izzi L.G.A, Ebonyi State.»Antitrypanosomal activity of ethanol extract of Tridax Procumbent leaf and whole flower on T.
