The main objective of the study is to examine how funds are managed in local government, to examine the financial arrangement relevant to Nigeria's local government with special reference. Data were collected through both primary and secondary source, questionnaires were administered in order to collect the relevant information needed for this research work. The researcher observed that financial control is not too effective in Bida local government.
