Abstract
The study focused on the strength properties of fibre-reinforced concrete produced from building demolition waste, which aims at accessing the suitability of fiber reinforced concrete produced from demolition waste. Tensile and compressive strength of 19mm aggregate size of coarse aggregate of 0%  of all in aggregate and addition of  0.7% and 0.14% of filament fibre which 12 cubes were produced from each aggregate size of 19mm and addition of 0.7% and 0.14% of filament fibre each. For each cast of cube, cube size of 100mm by 100mm cube was used and cylinder of 100mm by 200mm were cast for  s7 days, 14 days, 21 days and 28 days respectively using the mix ratio of 1:6 and water-cement ratio of 0.5, test showed that the workability tensile and compressive strength of an all in aggregate of 0%, it shows that it maximum strength is 1.95N/mm2 and 17.80N/mm2 at 28 days which is more higher than tensile and compressive strength of filament fiber of 0.7% and 0.14% which, the 0.7% tensile and compressive strength is 1.88N/mm2 and 9.74N/mm2 at 28 days respectively and that of the 0.14% for tensile and compressive strength is 1.65N/mm2   and 9.20N/mm2 at 28 days respectively. It is recommended that 0.7% of filament fibre should be adopted as mass concrete construction where the low bearing structure is required. ...
