Most of you use Facebook on a regular basis and chances are you already know how to do basic stuff like update status, add/block/delete friends, chat, reply to comments etc.
Unknown to many Facebook users, there are some handy tricks and shortcuts that can make using Facebook a whole lot easier and secure. In this post, I will show you some Facebook tips and tricks you might not know.

1. Turn off game/app invite request notifications on your smartphone

Sometimes we get notifications on our smartphones from Facebook friends asking us to play Candy crush saga or inviting us to try out an app.
If you will like to stop receiving such invites, here’s how to stop the notifications.

On your Android Facebook app

a. Go to settings by tapping the More icon (the one with three horizontal lines)



b. Scroll down to HELP & SETTINGS section and tap App Settings



c. On the Settings screen, tap Notifications



d. On the Notification screen, scroll down to Application requests and move the slider next to Application Requests to the Off position.



Once you turn the application request off, you’ll never receive another app/game request again.
